Rodney Harrison Out For Season

Rodney Harrison, safety for the New England Patriots is reportedly out for the season with a torn quad. Harrison suffered the injury Monday night against the Denver Broncos. This injury undoubtedly hurts the Patriots, but it's nothing new for the Patriots to deal with injury. In Week one, the Patriots all-pro quarterback Tom Brady. The Patriots way is being able to replace anyone in any spot on the team. The defense is going to have to come up big the rest of the year if the Patriots want a chance at the playoffs. Losing Harrison results in loss of leadership and the capability of big hits in the secondary. Harrison was voted the dirtiest player by the rest of the players in the league, and that legacy may stay with him forever. If Harrison is indeed done for his career he will be remembered as a great player and one of the hardest hitters the games has ever seen. I wish Harrison a speedy recovery and hope to see him play again.
