Phillies vs. Dodgers Game One
Well the Phillies took down game one against the Dodgers, mainly because Manny Ramirez's double was hit as far as possible without being a homerun. Ramirez's double hit the top of the fence in centerfield, giving the Dodgers a 1-0 lead. Utley responded later in the game with a two-run homerun to tie the game up. Pat Burrell followed later in the sixth inning with a homerun himself to give the Phillies a 3-2 lead they wouldn't relinquish, as Brad Lidge closed the deal yet again. Both pitchers had decent starts. Hamels, the winning pitcher went seven innings giving up two runs on six hits. Lowe, the losing pitcher went five and 1/3 giving up two earned runs over six hits. It's important for the Dodgers to win game two, so they don't go home down 0-2, and more importantly make my prediction look better!
